Commercial Flooring - BHP Yandi Workshop Floors

Last year 4000m2 of major workshop floors at BHP Yandi, WA was completed using Hychem high performance SF12, a heavy duty epoxy coating. The contracting team from Perth put the usability of the product to the test by operating in a remote location with exposure to Pilbara dust and battling daily maximum temperatures of around 40oC. Hychem SF12 was selected as the most suitable epoxy product for this project due to its fast curing, highly chemically resistant properties and availability in vibrant colours to suit BHP safety/zone marking requirements. Two coats per day could be applied saving valuable time and expense.

The Construction company and client have been very pleased with the finish and professional application proving that this Hychem epoxy coating system is the number one for large scale mining projects in the industrial marketplace.
