A range of Hychem products have been specified and installation has commenced on 8000m2+ for the largest automotive training facility in the southern hemisphere.

This state of the art facility offers the most advance training currently available with the latest equipment and technology available. The choice of the correct epoxy flooring system was an important part of the design specification. Strict parameters were set by the government including compliance of commercial flooring products for a 5 Green Star rating for energy and sustainable design, from the Green Building Council of Australia.

The General Workshop areas of 7800m2 and miscellaneous specialist workshops will be coated with our Hychem GP primer system and Hychem SF20 heavy duty roll coats, perfect for industrial flooring. The welding areas will be coated with our polyurethane cement ‘Hycrete’ to 6mm and the Hycrete top coat system on the walls.
