Hakka Foods, Silverwater
Hakka Food's selected Hychem as the resin supplier for their recently completed (2007) new production plant located in the Sydney suburb of Silverwater. Hychem were able to provide Phillip Ang, the companies owner, with a variety of flooring options which suited his requirements. From the need to supply a high heat resistant topping (Hycrete TR @ 9mm) to a heavy duty epoxy topping (E300SL/SF12 @ 6mm) for his production area to an economical coating system (SF20FG), Hychem were able to provide proven systems to their client. In the end our industry experience proved invaluable as poor quality concrete provided further obstacles. Spanning an area in excess of 4,000 square metres Hakka Foods are now flat out producing Asian type foods to the retail, wholesale and catering markets.
