Epoxy grout
Epoxy grouts offer considerable benefits over conventional cement grouts. They:
- can reach full strength in 1 -3 days, compared to 30 days for concrete
- have compressive strengths varying from 60 to 120 MPa
- reach 40 MPa in less than 8 hours
- have tensile strengths up to 10 times that of concrete
- are resistant to impact and vibrational forces
- can handle torsional forces much better than concrete
- resist degradation by acids, salts and caustic solutions
Machinery with high dynamic loads and vibration such as engines, turbines, compressors, rolling mills, conveyors, printing presses etc.
- Base plates
- Anchor bolts and rebars
- Crusher liner backing
- Crane rails
- Structural columns
Product TDS
- Hygrout 205 – HYGROUT 205 is a three component, high performance epoxy grout. It is designed to exhibit high strength, high flow and low exotherm during curing enabling it to be used in pours up to 175mm.
- Hygrout 210 – HYGROUT 210 is a three component, high performance epoxy grout. It is designed to exhibit low exotherm during curing enabling it to be used in deep pours and at elevated application temperatures. HYGROUT 210 has high strength and low creep.
- Hychem 270 – HYCHEM E270 is designed for use wherever high ambient temperatures preclude the use of general purpose epoxy construction grouts. This may be due to large pour volume, high ambient temperature during application or high temperatures in the working environment. HYCHEM E270 is formulated for good flow properties in tight spaces, additional quartz aggregate may be added where design considerations allow the use of a heavier bodied grout.
